We welcome new members once they have successfully passed our audition, which consists of a preliminary voice test to determine the appropriate part for you to sing, followed by learning two songs from our repertoire and singing them in quartet to our music team.
You do not need to be a music reader, as we use teach tracks for song learning. You must however be able to sing in tune and hold your part against others.
Signature members are expected to commit to weekly rehearsals, and to occasional coaching days and other events. To perform at our best, we need all members to contribute to as many rehearsals as possible.

We ask our members to also rehearse in their own time so that we can make the best use of our time together on Thursday evenings.
We regularly attend the annual convention of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (this is usually at the end of October) We also like to take part in music festivals and other occasions, some local to where we rehearse, some further afield.
